Its new web construction, resin bonding, and aluminum oxide mineral create a long-lasting disc for cleaning and surface conditioning. Thanks to the flexible web structure, these discs conform even better to the shape of the workpiece, creating a larger contact area for faster cleaning. The disc adapts to uneven edges such as weld seams, cleaning them effectively while also helping reach difficult areas. The durable aluminum oxide mineral cleans efficiently, leaving a slightly rougher surface than the XT Pro Clean and Strip Disc. It is suitable for more aggressive cleaning applications, such as removing weld marks, heavy rust buildup, paint, and corrosion without gouging the surface. In a single step, it removes the surface layer and prepares the surface for welding or adhesive application, saving work time because there is no need to change discs. Grinding dust also does not become embedded in the open web structure, which helps prevent clogging. The disc maintains consistent performance throughout the life of the abrasive product, as the resin bond reinforcing the disc gradually fractures during use, continuously exposing fresh fiber and durable aluminum oxide abrasive mineral. The highly durable fiber material does not splinter, and discs made from it also produce low vibration and few sparks, are suitable for high speeds, and provide long service life.
