CONTEGA EXO is a diffusion-open joint tape for exterior sealing of window and door frames in timber and log structures — especially in settling log buildings and wood-framed houses.

CONTEGA EXO joint tape has adhesive strips on both sides of the tape, so it can be installed between the frame and the structure without folding the tape.

CONTEGA EXO joint tape also has two adhesive strips on the underside of the tape, allowing it to be installed on the front edge of the frame when the windows have already been fitted in place.

CONTEGA EXO joint tape features water-resistant Solid adhesive. The adhesive has passed a 100-year thermal aging test and provides excellent adhesion to the substrate.

Together with the diffusion-tight CONTEGA SL joint tape installed on the interior side of the window, the system provides complete protection for structures against moisture stress entering through window openings.
