Fenix E18R V2.0 is an EXTREMELY POWERFUL updated version of the E18R mini flashlight. This light packs an impressive 1200 lumens into a remarkably compact body. The E18R V2.0 delivers as much as 60% more light output than its predecessor. Charging now works via a USB-C charging port in line with the EU standard, so you no longer need a special cable to charge the light. The E18R V2.0 is truly compact, and at just 56 g, it is barely noticeable to carry. This is a flashlight you can easily keep with you wherever you may need light. The E18R also features the much-requested 1-lumen moonlight mode, which is especially useful when you do not want to disturb others with bright light, for example while sleeping in a tent. The beam pattern is a balanced combination type, offering enough focus while still providing sufficient surrounding illumination. The light has five brightness levels and a strobe flashing mode. A practical detail is the powerful tail magnet, which lets you attach the E18R V2.0 to almost any metal surface.

Impressive light output

We have packed remarkable output and performance into an incredibly compact size. The E18R V2.0 offers a maximum output of 1200 lm and a long maximum beam distance of 146 m. New in the E18R V2.0 is the 1-lumen moonlight mode. While one lumen may not sound like much, it is still enough to see in the dark, for example inside a tent, without disturbing others. In addition, the 1-lumen mode enables an exceptionally long continuous runtime of up to 200 hours on a single charge. Power is supplied by the high-performance Fenix ARB-L18-700 Li-ion rechargeable battery, which charges quickly from empty to full in 1.2 hours. Charging is done through the new universal USB-C charging port in accordance with the EU standard.

Practical design

The starting point of the Fenix E18R V2.0 design was to create the best all-purpose flashlight that could replace several even larger flashlights. The light features a convenient two-way pocket clip that allows you to attach it easily to a belt, cap, and more. The powerful tail magnet lets you secure the light to almost any metal surface. Impact resistance and full IP68 dust and waterproof protection ensure that the E18R V2.0 can withstand more demanding use without breaking. Safe operation is ensured by Fenix’s new patented IOP heat management electronics, which prevent the surface temperature of the light from rising too high (max. 60°C) when using high output modes. Accidental activation can be prevented with the electronic lockout function or by turning the metal clip over the switch to protect it.

Also works with a CR123A battery

In addition to a rechargeable battery, the Fenix E18R V2.0 can also be used with a standard CR123A battery, which performs very well in cold conditions. The remaining battery power can be easily checked from the LED indicator in the power switch*. The battery level indicator works only with Fenix ARB-L16 series rechargeable batteries.
