The Fenix HM70R headlamp offers an unbeatable combination of powerful output and long runtime. The HM70R delivers up to 1600 lumens maximum output and up to 100 hours of continuous runtime on the lowest mode. The HM70R is powered by a high-capacity 5000 mAh 21700-type Li-ion battery, providing up to 50% longer runtime and 30% more light compared to headlamps powered by an 18650 Li-ion battery. The Fenix HM70R features a multi-light system that covers all lighting needs, including a long-range combined beam, a wide flood beam for close-range illumination, and a red light for preserving night vision and signaling. There is no fumbling with this lamp, as all functions are easily operated from the large push-button switch located on the end of the light. The oversized switch makes the lamp easy to use even while wearing thicker gloves. The HM70R also features class-leading fast 2A USB-C charging, which charges the high-capacity battery exceptionally quickly.
Best-in-class lighting
The HM70R has separate spotlight, floodlight, and red light functions, all controlled via the large push button on the end of the lamp. The combined/spot beam produces a maximum output of 1600 lumens and reaches up to 186 meters. This beam is ideal for illuminating wide areas and distant objects. The HM70R’s floodlight is extremely wide and uses a natural white LED with excellent color rendering. It is perfectly suited for precision close-up work both on the job and during leisure activities. The HM70R also includes two red LEDs that help preserve night vision or function as a signal light. For outdoor use, such as tent lighting, one major advantage of the red light is that it does not attract insects around the light.
Long runtime
The HM70R headlamp uses a high-capacity 5000 mAh 21700 Li-ion 3.7 V rechargeable battery, delivering 50% longer runtime and 30% more powerful illumination compared to an 18650 Li-ion battery. The HM70R provides enough power for up to 100 hours of continuous operation at the 30 lm Eco mode. The high-capacity battery cell enables long runtimes across all output modes.
Class-leading fast 2A USB-C charging
One important factor when choosing a headlamp is how quickly it can be made ready for use. The HM70R charges extremely quickly and is ready to go in no time. Fast USB Type-C charging (the same connector used by most phones) charges the lamp from empty to full in just four hours with a 2A charging current. The headlamp can also be used in its medium mode while charging. You can check the remaining battery capacity by briefly pressing the push button on the end of the lamp, and the LED indicator will show the remaining charge level.
Reliable companion even in demanding use
The HM70R not only looks like a premium-class headlamp, it is also highly durable and comfortable to use. The lamp is made from tough hard-anodized aircraft-grade aluminum. It is also easy to adjust to the desired angle thanks to its 180-degree tilting lamp body. There is no unnecessary fiddling with this light, as all functions are easily accessible from the large push-button switch on the end of the lamp. During transport, the operating modes can also be locked to prevent accidental activation. The HM70R is fully IP68-rated for dust and waterproofing, so it stands up to even the most demanding conditions.
No expensive proprietary batteries
The HM70R runs on one standard 21700 Li-ion battery. The lamp comes with a powerful 5000 mAh 21700 Fenix ARB-L21 battery. The Fenix ARB-L21-5000 battery is a safe Li-ion rechargeable battery, protected not only by its built-in protection circuits but also by a steel shell that safeguards it from external bumps and impacts.
