Maston Rust Stop effectively stops rust once it has started. Clean the surface of dirt, grease, and loose rust, mix the product well, and apply with a brush. The surface will soon turn black, indicating that the process has begun. Rusting stops within 1–3 hours. Sand, remove dust, wipe with acetone, and continue with further treatment. Working temperature +8 to +35 °C, clean-up with water, coverage 20 m²/l.

Directions for use
Clean the surface to be treated of dirt, grease, and loose rust. Stir well and apply with a stiff brush. After a short while, the treated surface will begin to turn black. This is a sign that the rust-stopping process has started. Depending on the conditions and the surface, rusting will be completely stopped 1–3 hours after treatment (+20°C). Sand any uneven areas. Remove sanding dust and wipe the surface with Maston Aceton. The surface can then be further treated with filler, rust protection primer, or regular primer. Suitable for use with Alkyd, Acrylic, PU, and Epoxy paint types.
