Maston Rust Stop Spray stops rust and prevents it from spreading on steel and iron surfaces. It forms a protective black conversion coating that prepares the surface for painting. Rusting stops within 1–3 hours. Once dry, the surface can be sanded and painted with many types of paint. Use protective gloves and safety glasses in a well-ventilated area.

Maston Rust Stop Spray is an effective anti-corrosion treatment that stops rust and prevents it from spreading. The product reacts chemically with rust, forming a protective black conversion coating that stabilizes the metal surface and prepares it for further treatment.

The treated surface quickly turns black, indicating that the rust prevention process has started. Depending on conditions, rusting stops within 1–3 hours after treatment (+20 °C). After drying, the surface can be lightly sanded and covered with fillers, anti-rust primers, primers, or topcoats. Compatible with alkyd, acrylic, PU, and epoxy paints.
