Paraffin Oil 3L, cosmetic grade, not classified according to the CLP Regulation, 100% paraffin oil.

Paraffin oil is a non-toxic and environmentally friendly product that is excellent for protecting sauna benches. The oil protects the wood surface from moisture and makes it easier to keep clean. Because paraffin oil penetrates deep into the wood grain, other substances can no longer get in. The oil is colorless, and treatment only deepens the tone of the wood grain. It is suitable for all wood species, and is especially good for heat-treated wood and alder.

In addition to sauna benches, Stelon Paraffin Oil can also be used to protect other wooden surfaces indoors and outdoors, such as veneered furniture and untreated surfaces like cutting boards. Paraffin oil is also suitable for use as a massage oil.


Directions for use:

Apply paraffin oil to an untreated wood surface with a brush, sponge, or lint-free cloth. When treating sauna benches, they should be cleaned and dried before treatment. Stained and darkened benches should be sanded before oiling. Treatment should be carried out in dry conditions, when the humidity is below 80% and the temperature is at least 5ºC. The best result is achieved when the sauna is heated to about 50ºC before treatment.

It is recommended to repeat the paraffin oil treatment if the substance is absorbed into the wood immediately. Finally, wipe off any excess oil from the benches. Used tools can be cleaned with water or disposed of with landfill waste. Used tools do not pose a risk of spontaneous combustion.

Empty bottles can be disposed of with landfill waste.
