Petzl Pixa 3 ATEX V2 LED headlamp (battery-powered)

An extremely durable and versatile ATEX LED headlamp designed for professionals, featuring CONSTANT LIGHTING technology for constant brightness. Ideally suited for efficient close-range work, movement, and long-distance viewing. 

The lamp features three optically high-quality beam patterns designed for different purposes: 

1: close-range work light (very wide). 

2: combination beam for safe movement (spot beam and close-range beam) 

3: distance beam (powerful focused beam). 

Depending on the need, the Pixa lamp can be used as a headlamp worn on the head, as a helmet lamp mounted on a helmet, or as a work light placed on a surface. The light output remains equally bright and consistent throughout the battery life, and does not dim in a way that would reduce work efficiency. The lamp body can be tilted through a wide angle and directed as needed. When turned to the storage position, the lens is protected and the switch is locked, preventing the lamp from being turned on accidentally. Batteries are quick and easy to replace. The large selector switch makes the lamp easy to operate while wearing gloves and allows easy switching on, mode selection, and switching off. 

Comfortable, adjustable, and machine-washable headband. Pixa is extremely rugged: withstands drops from 2 meters, impacts, and crushing (80 kg). Designed to withstand storage in a toolbox and being stepped on, among other things. Also resistant to most chemicals. Waterproof to -1 m and dustproof (IP67). Requires no maintenance after getting wet. Suitable for use in explosive environments: meets the requirements of the ATEX zone 2/22 standard (II 3 GD Ex nA ic IIB T4 Gc tc IIIC T135°C Dc). Can be used in areas with gas (zone 2) and in areas with dust (zone 22) when the ignition temperature is 135°C or higher. 

Delivery includes: lamp, batteries, headband, and helmet mounting plate, which allows the lamp to be used on a helmet without the headband. The mounting plate is compatible with Petzl Vertex and Petzl Alveo helmets, as well as helmets with a standard mounting slot (20x3 mm). 

Operates on two AA (LR6) batteries, and can also be used with rechargeable Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries as well as lithium batteries. Weight with batteries: 160 g. CE. ANSI/NEMA FL1. 3-year warranty against material and manufacturing defects.

Setting 1 close-range work light: 26 hours up to 15 meters with constant output of 20 lumens. Total burn time 39 h. 

Setting 2 movement light: 6 hours 30 min up to 45 meters with constant output of 60 lumens. Total burn time 19 h 30 min. 

Setting 3 distance beam: 3 hours 30 min up to 90 meters with constant output of 100 lumens. Total burn time 16 h 30 min. 

Total burn time means the combined operating time: after the constant-output period, all settings still provide usable light in energy-saving mode for at least 13 h at 10 lumens. 

The lamp gives advance warning when the batteries need to be replaced.
