The light strip operates at low voltage (48 V DC), which means there is no risk of electric shock if the strip is accidentally pinched or broken. Only light strips powered through a power supply are legal. The light strip is made of heat-resistant silicone that cannot cause a fire and remains fully flexible even in extreme cold, down to -20 °C. With an IP65 rating, it can also be used in damp working environments.
