Sitko ECO air sealing tape 60 mm x 40 m - plastic-free

Eco-friendly Sitko ECO air barrier tape has been developed
for greener construction. A plastic-film-free tape for sealing the seams,
joints, and penetrations of air barrier papers and vapor barrier plastics.
The tape core/backing is made of paper and contains no plastic.
The surface of the paper has been treated with a thin silicone coating
to make it water-repellent, moisture-resistant, and to prevent the tape
from sticking to itself on the roll. The adhesive used in the tape
is a polyacrylate adhesive with excellent adhesion and aging resistance.
It is the same adhesive used in other high-quality Sitko product family tapes,
making it long-lasting and durable.
The tape differs from other vapor and air barrier tapes
in that it does not have a separate protective film/release liner
over the adhesive surface, allowing it to be installed easily
and quickly by hand and also conveniently, for example, with a
standard packing tape dispenser, and no waste is generated
during installation. Thanks to its non-stretch and durable
structure, the tape does not require a separate reinforcement mesh.

Easy and quick to install. Easy to tear/cut.
For indoor use only. The tape must not be used on the
exterior side of the building for sealing wind barrier films or
papers. Not suitable for wet areas.
