The aerated concrete screw is used for anchoring into porous materials such as aerated concrete and lightweight aggregate blocks, also known as Leca, Ytong, Siporex, and Sinibetoni. The aerated concrete screw can be used for fastening wood and steel battens, sill installations, interior details, insulation, etc.
The screw is classified in corrosion class C4, which means it performs excellently both outdoors and indoors.

The thread of the aerated concrete screw is developed for porous materials such as aerated concrete and lightweight aggregate blocks. The countersunk head screw is equipped with cutting grooves to reduce the risk of overdriving and to make it easier to sink into wood.
Installation:
The aerated concrete screw can be installed directly into aerated concrete/lightweight aggregate block without pre-drilling. A torque-controlled screwdriver is recommended for installation. To avoid overtightening, it is recommended to use a low speed. Overtightening may cause thread stripping, which can significantly reduce the load capacity and result in the need for reinstallation.
