Star rivet, also known as a blind rivet or peel rivet, consists of an aluminum rivet body and a zinc-plated steel mandrel. During installation, three legs fold outward, distributing the clamping force evenly and preventing the rivet from pulling through soft or brittle materials. The mandrel ensures reliable installation and helps prevent errors.

Star-shaped blind rivets form three folding legs on the blind side during installation. These large folding
legs distribute the clamping force evenly and properly across the surface of the riveted material.
In addition, the large surface area created by the folding legs provides excellent resistance against the rivet pulling through very soft, porous, or brittle components. The robust mandrel helps prevent installation errors.
