The typical SPAX T-STAR plus drive is a so-called internal hex design. This shape increases the contact surface of the T-STAR plus screwdriver and ensures optimal positioning of T-STAR plus bits in the screw head. By enabling maximum power transfer from the screwdriver to the screw, T-STAR plus guarantees simple and extremely fast work that is much more efficient than with other drive types.

Unlike partial thread screws, full thread extends along the entire length of the screw. The more threads a screw has, the greater the tensile and compressive forces these screws can transfer into the wood. Our full thread screws are used primarily for heavy-duty wood connections.

The term 4CUT refers to the arrow-shaped design of the screw tip. These edges displace the wood fibers as the screw is driven in and create space for the core diameter of the screw. This reduces expansion in the wood core and helps prevent splitting around the edges. The required torque from the cordless screwdriver is also reduced, because the screw core no longer needs to "press" into the wood.
