The Starlock push-on retainer is an open shaft retainer made of stainless spring steel 1.4310. It can be installed on a shaft without a pre-cut groove, and there is no limit to the installation depth. The shaped inner hole presses against the shaft at its edges and locks into place. Its holding capacity is limited and is specified separately in the technical section as the F-1 value. Suitable for many light-duty retaining applications in shaft assemblies.

Starlock (push-on fastener) can be installed on a shaft without a groove made for a retainer. Open-type Starlock fastener; installation depth is not limited. The inner hole of the Starlock is shaped so that, when installed on the shaft, the edges of the inner hole press toward the shaft and lock into the installation position. The holding capacity is limited and is specified separately in the technical section as the F-1 value.
