A threaded insert is used to repair an internal thread when the original thread is damaged to the point that it can no longer be repaired with a thread element (wire insert). A threaded insert can also be used when you want to change, for example, an M10 thread to an M8 thread in a product. In this case, the outer diameter of the product and the specified dimensional tolerances must be taken into account. In the most demanding fastening applications, threadlocker should be used.

The product material is A1 stainless steel (1.4305)
