1.8 m self-retracting lifeline with integrated shock absorber for use in aerial work platforms. Designed especially for working on all types of mobile platforms: tested in accordance with the double sharp edge requirement over both sharp edges of a guardrail (radius = 0.5 mm). Arrests a fall and reduces the shock forces exerted on the aerial work platform anchor point to below 3 kN, in line with the recommendations of several aerial work platform manufacturers. Automatically retracting. Anti-twist swivel attachment. Can be used in all positions. Also suitable for use over other sharp edges: rolled steel profiles, wooden beams, and over clad rounded roof edges, etc. NOTE! Lifelines equipped with webbing are not as such suitable for conditions where the edge is extremely sharp or uneven (burred), such as hollow-core slabs, cast concrete, sharp sheet metal structures, etc. Always read the instructions for use. Exceptionally short required clearance below the user: 2 m when attached above the user and 3.9–4.0 m when attached at working platform level (see instructions for use). Aluminum housing, webbing connecting element. The webbing is equipped with an automatically locking aluminum connector carabiner. Length 1.8 m, and if necessary, a 40 cm lanyard can also be used at the harness end to extend the working range (product no. 45-IK 6 B 40 R).
