Petzl ASAP Lock kit (Sorber 40) rope grab

ASAP LOCK is a fall-arrest rope grab designed for professional use that moves in both directions along the rope.

During normal use, ASAP LOCK moves freely along the rope following the user’s movements, without requiring any manual operation. In the event of a sudden load or rapid movement, the rope grab locks onto the rope and stops the user’s fall.

Thanks to the integrated locking function, the device can be locked as high as possible on the safety rope, helping reduce the potential fall distance. The connecting arm prevents the system from being accidentally dropped when passing intermediate anchors. ASAP LOCK can be installed on or removed from the rope at any point along its length.

The ASAP LOCK rope grab is used together with an ASAP’SORBER or ASAP’SORBER AXESS energy absorber. The energy absorber also allows working at a greater distance from the rope.
