3M™ Roloc™ backing pads deliver optimal performance when used with Roloc™ discs. They provide proper support and secure attachment in a wide range of sanding applications. The Roloc attachment saves time because the disc edges do not need to be aligned separately with the backing pad. The Roloc attachment stud automatically centers the disc, making disc changes quick and easy.

Select the appropriate Roloc backing pad based on the sanding task at hand. For heavy-duty applications, a firmer backing pad is recommended, while for lighter finishing applications, a more flexible backing pad is preferred. Choosing the right backing pad also depends on the user’s working style. The backing pads are designed to fit drills, die grinders, angle grinders, and rotary sanders. The maximum speed is determined by the size and firmness of the disc and backing pad.

Thanks to the Roloc™ quick-change attachment, the disc is easy to attach and remove, and no separate tools are needed for disc changes. Use with a Roloc disc suitable for the sanding application.
