Traditional “janitor’s” street broom for year-round yard cleaning.

A durable broom for the home, cottage, housing association, garage, and farm. Also excellent for rough roof cleaning. Won’t clog and regains its shape after use. Made in Finland, handcrafted by visually impaired artisans.

• Bristles: piassava fiber, highly resistant to wear and performs well when wet
• Handle and ferrule: The broom’s total length is 1.62 m, with a pine handle measuring 120 cm long and 28 mm wide. The ferrule is aluminum.

Especially suitable for:

• Yards, stairs, barns, stables, and various rough floor surfaces.
• Rough stone and concrete surfaces.
• Ideal for removing loose sand, leaves, and debris. Withstands wet and heavy snow well.
   

Usage tips:

• If the bristles feel too dry right after purchase, place the broom in a bucket of water for a moment to moisten. Piassava fiber also absorbs moisture from the air, helping it stay flexible.
• You can adjust the flexibility of the bristles by moving the metal band on the bristles up or down.
• Store the broom hanging so that the bristles do not become bent.
   

A hand-tied broom lasts longer than one made industrially.
