The cylindrical pin is an uncoated, RoHS-compliant steel fastener with an m6 tolerance. It is suitable for securing or joining two or more parts in a single installation. A friction fit is possible with sufficient clearance. For joints that need to be reopened, a DIN 1 taper pin is recommended. The length specification differs between DIN and ISO pins.

NOTE! For pins manufactured according to DIN, the length is measured as the straight section, excluding the rounded ends. For pins manufactured according to ISO, the rounded ends are also included in the overall length.
The cylindrical pin is designed for fastening or joining two or more elements in a single connection. A friction-type joint can be achieved by selecting sufficient clearance between the parts, for example with a shim washer. For joints that need to be opened and re-fastened, the use of a DIN1 taper pin is recommended.
