Cotter pins and retaining rings
DIN-standard cotter pins and retaining rings are essential components that ensure reliable fastening and part compatibility in industrial applications. The most commonly used pins are cylindrical pins and taper pins. Pins can be plain, as well as internally or externally threaded. Other types include spring pins (roll pins), cotter pins, dowel pins, ring pins, and specialty pins.
For shaft locking, the most common method is to use a retaining ring. In demanding applications where locking takes place, for example, inside a bore, a retaining ring is used. Both products are best known by the name Seeger ring or simply Seeger.
We offer a wide selection of pins, retaining rings, and machine keys suitable for many different applications. Our high-quality products ensure durable and safe use in all projects.
