The mounting groove inside the knob is conical in shape.

The star knob body allows for versatile use of the star knob.
The product does not include an internal or external thread, hex nut, or hex screw. These can be installed separately in the body according to the intended application.
If desired, you can order the following for these bodies:
- Hex nut DIN934, DIN439
- Hex screw DIN933, DIN931, DIN960 (fine thread), DIN961 (fine thread).
 - Only standard metric threads are compatible with the star knob bodies!
The knob has a removable protective cap.

Press the hex nut or hex screw into the star knob body all the way to the bottom. Place the protective cap in position. The product is ready for use.
