Unipak Unigarn Hemp 80 g in a jar, flax

Unigarn flax/hemp twine is a pure natural product made from fine, uniform, long-fiber hackled flax obtained from the stem of the flax plant.

APPLICATION:
Unigarn flax/hemp twine is used together with sealing compound (e.g. UNIPAK jointing compound) to seal threaded joints in drinking water, hot water, and low-pressure steam pipes.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
When used together with UNIPAK jointing compound, Unigarn flax/hemp twine makes installation easier and ensures tight joints. Thanks to its flexibility – unlike, for example, thread seal tape – the joints remain tight even when backed off, and they can be adjusted and disassembled.  

At high temperatures (above 130 °C), there is a risk of the flax fibers becoming scorched.
