This makes a compact design possible, ensuring balanced weight distribution, excellent ergonomics, and a low weight of just 1.4 kg. Automatic dust extraction with the Longlife dust collection bag makes the tool especially convenient to use, allowing effortless work even overhead, on vertical surfaces, and in hard-to-reach areas. The Bluetooth® battery enables convenient operation with a Bluetooth®-enabled Festool dust extractor and automatically starts the extractor in AUTO mode when you switch on the cordless sander. The battery can also be replaced with a plug it power adapter, which provides unlimited runtime for the tool – an ideal solution for stationary use and for working with a Festool dust extractor.
