The plunge cut indicator makes it easier to precisely define the start and end points of plunge cuts at all cutting depths. It reduces the need for repeat cuts and hazardous backward cutting. The indicator is installed from above into the guide rail groove and adjusted according to the saw's cutting depth. The magnetic attachment enables precise cutting even close to walls. We know: precisely determining the plunge-cut position is a challenge—especially at shallower cutting depths when no reference points are available. It often requires making several plunge cuts or even dangerous backward cuts. With the plunge position indicator, you can reliably guide the saw to the exact blade entry and exit points at any cutting depth. Easily install and lock it in place from above in the guide rail groove. Then adjust the indicator scale according to your plunge saw’s depth setting, align it with the marked line, and make cuts with pinpoint accuracy. The indicator can also be attached magnetically to the right or left side of the support plate. This allows you to cut accurately even close to the wall, including when the saw blade is hard to see or not visible at all.
