Unprecedented power for the Makita XGT® battery lineup! The BL4040F battery combines high power output, low heat loss, and a compact size. Thanks to the new High Power cells, the BL4040F can deliver more power faster compared to the standard BL4040 battery. With up to 35% more power, this battery improves work efficiency and speeds up processes. Despite its powerful output, the new cells generate significantly less heat than those in the BL4040 battery. Due to lower heat loss, runtime per charge increases under heavy load compared to the standard BL4040 battery. The lower operating temperature also enables faster charging (approx. 45 minutes), as the battery can accept a charge more quickly without separate initial cooling. The battery’s service life is also extended thanks to the cells’ lower thermal stress. The BL4040F is physically the same size as the BL4040, but weighs 70 grams less. In terms of power output, the BL4040F matches the BL4050F (40Vmax XGT® 5.0Ah) battery, while being up to 370 grams lighter and significantly more compact.
