Powerful metal circular saw with a brushless motor and a large 67 mm cutting capacity. Cuts metal accurately without requiring a hot work permit. Metal chips are collected in a quick-release chip collection container. The blade guard can also be opened with a separate lever, making it easier to start precise cuts. Body-only version without battery or charger.

The powerful brushless motor combined with the Makita XGT 40V battery system ensures excellent cutting performance even under heavy load. Maximum cutting capacity up to 67 mm thanks to the large 185 mm blade. Blade speed is 3500 rpm, and the constant speed control minimizes speed drop under load.
Active load sensing stops the blade if it gets jammed in the workpiece for any reason. The electronic brake stops the blade immediately when the switch is released. The brake improves jobsite safety and also speeds up work when making repeated consecutive cuts. Soft start reduces kickback at startup. The blade guard can also be opened with a separate lever, making it easier to begin precise cutting.
Two bright LED lights clearly illuminate the cutting area even in low light. The tool also features the Makita XPT system, which provides effective protection against dust and water.
