Makita DGA506Z 18V cordless angle grinder is a powerful brushless tool for cutting and grinding, equipped with a brake. This cordless angle grinder is suitable for demanding professional use and delivers performance close to that of a corded machine. Disc size 125 mm. The machine features constant electronics, a fast disc brake for added safety, and an AVT vibration-dampened side handle. Bare tool version without battery or charger.
The angle grinder has automatic speed control, which adjusts the RPM to suit the working situation. When the tool is placed under heavy load, the speed drops to a level that the electronic control unit can maintain steadily under load. In an overload situation, the device stops. The machine’s LED light glows green when the automatic speed control has activated for heavy load. A red LED light indicates an overload condition when the device has stopped and the machine must be restarted. Removable dust covers prevent harmful dust from entering the machine with the cooling air, and they should be cleaned regularly to maximize airflow. Soft start and restart protection improve safety in use. The electronic brake stops the disc quickly when the machine is switched off from the power switch.
