Makita DMR055 cordless radio/lantern 18V/14.4V is a handy battery-powered combination of radio and light, ideal for example on construction sites or camping trips. The lantern/radio operates with LXT 14.4V or 18V batteries. The radio features a digital tuner, preset memory stations, and a clear backlit display. Two different lighting modes. The light has a convenient hanging hook and comes standard with a carrying strap with hook, making it easy to hang from, for example, scaffolding or a tent ceiling. Bare tool version without battery or charger.
The 57 mm diameter speaker delivers clear, crisp sound all around. The radio is equipped with a digital FM/AM tuner and can store up to nine favorite stations in memory. Extremely clear and easy-to-read backlit display. The antenna is integrated into the metal tubes protecting the light section of the device. Makita XPT system provides effective protection against water and dust even in demanding conditions.
The light has two different lighting modes: you can choose either full 360-degree illumination or alternatively light directed in only three directions. The light color temperature is warm white. With an 18V 6.0Ah battery, the light runs for 19 hours and the radio for 63 hours.
