A compact and powerful three-mode tool for hammer drilling, drilling without impact, and chiseling. Powered by a Makita XGT 40V battery. The highly effective AVT vibration reduction technology significantly reduces harmful vibration transferred to the user, helping you work longer with less fatigue. The optimal drilling diameter in concrete is 6–10 mm, but the 2.1 J impact energy allows for a maximum capacity of up to 20 mm. eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) improves dust and water resistance when working in demanding conditions. The maintenance-free, long-lasting brushless motor consumes less power than a conventional brushed motor, allowing longer runtime on a single battery charge. The brushless motor is also lighter, making the tool easier and more comfortable to handle.
With the chisel function, light demolition work such as removing tiles during a bathroom renovation can be done easily.
An optional DX16 dust extraction attachment is available for the rotary hammer, and the tool also features AWS (Auto-Start Wireless System), which allows an AWS-compatible jobsite vacuum to start wirelessly via Bluetooth when you begin using the rotary hammer.
The sturdy vibration-dampened side handle improves working accuracy. The LED light effectively illuminates the work area, and the safety switch prevents accidental start-up, improving jobsite safety.
