The HS011G is a highly powerful battery-powered circular saw equipped with a 270 mm blade. The brushless motor and 40V XGT battery power source give the machine performance comparable to corded machines with the same cutting capacity. Thanks to the magnesium die-cast frame and lightweight brushless motor, it is even lighter than comparable corded saws. Weight with a 5.0Ah battery is only 6.1 kg.
The saw can be connected directly to a Makita guide rail, for example for precise panel cuts. Blade rotation speed up to 3,500 rpm. The blade can be tilted from -1° to 60°, making even more difficult angles possible with this saw. Maximum cutting depth is 101 mm at 0° and 71 mm at a 45° angle.
Thanks to the dual LED lights, you can clearly see the cutting line. The electronic brake protects the user by stopping blade rotation immediately when the machine is switched off. Soft start makes the machine comfortable to use. The electronic kickback protection safely shuts down the machine if the blade suddenly jams. Makita's XPT system effectively protects the machine from dust and water.
For efficient dust-free working, the machine can be connected directly to a vacuum, and it is also equipped for AWS vacuum remote control functionality. This allows the device to be paired with an AWS-compatible vacuum using wireless Bluetooth connectivity, so when the device starts, the vacuum starts at the same time.
