The 40V XGT cordless circular saw features a lightweight design and a long-lasting brushless motor. A brushless motor is more efficient and consumes less power than a conventional brushed motor, allowing longer working time on a single battery charge.
This circular saw is suitable for cutting a wide range of materials such as wood and sheet materials. The cordless Makita HS012G circular saw is lightweight and easy to handle thanks to its magnesium die-cast base, blade guard, and blade housing. The compact design and forward-shaped handle make the circular saw easy to control and therefore safer to use.
The HS012G cordless circular saw has a maximum cutting depth of 57 mm. With an optional adapter, the circular saw can be attached to a guide rail, allowing you to make long, straight cuts effortlessly and neatly, for example when cutting panels.
Bright twin LED lights illuminate the work area and improve accuracy and safety. The safety switch prevents accidental start-up, and the electronic brake stops the blade quickly when the switch is released. The battery protection system automatically cuts off the power supply when the battery charge is low.
The HS012G cordless circular saw has a dust extraction connection and also features AWS (Auto-start Wireless System), which allows a compatible AWS-equipped vacuum to start wirelessly (Bluetooth) at the same time as the circular saw is switched on.
