Makita KP001GZ Planer 40V XGT AWS, body only, is a powerful brushless planer with AWS readiness for remote vacuum start.
This handheld planer delivers up to 4 mm planing depth and an 82 mm planing width. Depth adjustment is easy with the adjustment knob. Chip ejection can be set to the right or left. Handy for tasks such as trimming interior doors or narrowing panels and moldings. The machine is equipped for AWS remote vacuum start. Body-only version without battery or charger.
An extremely powerful cordless planer featuring a long-lasting, maintenance-free brushless motor. The planing depth can be easily adjusted with the knob up to 4 mm. Planing width is 82 mm, and the rebate depth is 25 mm. An especially convenient tool for shortening interior doors or trimming panels and moldings.
Chip ejection can be directed to either the right or left side of the machine. For dust-free work, a dust bag can be attached to collect chips, and the tool is also equipped for AWS (Auto-start Wireless System) cordless remote vacuum start, which uses a wireless Bluetooth connection to start an AWS-compatible vacuum cleaner at the same time the tool is switched on.
