Makita KT001GZ Kettle 40V XGT 0.8L 1/2 battery, bare tool is a handy battery-powered kettle.
A kettle powered by a 40V battery that you can easily take with you to the jobsite, on day trips, camping at campsites, and more. Tank capacity is 0.8 L, and under optimal conditions, more than 2 liters of water can be boiled with a single 4.0 Ah XGT® battery. The battery dock has space for two batteries. Convenient carrying handle. Supplied without battery or charger.
The KT001GZ is a battery-powered kettle that uses an XGT® 40V battery as its power source. The unit has a 0.8 L tank capacity, and approximately 2.2 L of water can be boiled with one 40V XGT® 4.0 Ah battery.
When the water boils, the unit switches off automatically and emits an audible signal lasting a few seconds. The unit features a spill lock to help prevent accidental splashes. Boil-dry protection: if the kettle boils dry and overheats, the temperature sensor detects the high internal temperature and automatically stops heating.
Easy-to-read water level scale; the inside surface of the kettle has markings with 0.1 L accuracy and indicators at 0.3 L, 0.5 L, and 0.8 L/max. The battery charge level can be checked by pressing the button above the battery docks and viewing the charge status on the unit’s LED indicators. Approximate boiling time for 0.8 liters of water: 8 minutes (23°C -> 100°C); 9 minutes (10°C -> 100°C). Smaller amounts boil faster.
The double-layer construction, with a stainless steel inner shell and an outer plastic shell, ensures high heat retention while keeping the kettle surface cool. The position of the power supply carrying handle is designed to keep the kettle stable at all times, regardless of whether batteries are installed in the power supply holder or whether there is water in the kettle. The kettle automatically stops boiling when either the water tank or the entire unit with power supply is lifted. The lid is removable for easy filling and cleaning.
