Makita LS004GZ01 miter saw 40V XGT, blade 260 mm, is a powerful miter saw for the 40V XGT battery system. A high-capacity miter saw designed for XGT batteries. The work light casts the blade’s shadow onto the workpiece for extremely precise cutting. Cutting capacity up to 91 mm in height and 310 mm in width. Blade bevels left and right. Highly efficient dust extraction when connected to a vacuum. The Makita AWS system enables remote auto-start of the vacuum. Bare tool version without battery.
A powerful high-capacity miter saw for demanding use. The powerful, long-lasting, energy-efficient brushless motor combined with the 40V XGT battery system gives the saw performance that is even better than comparable corded models.
Cutting capacity at 90° is 68 x 310 / 91 x 279 mm, and at 45° left bevel 42 x 310 / 58 x 279 mm. At a 45° miter angle, capacity is 68 x 218 / 91 x 197 mm, and at the maximum 60° angle, 68 x 155 / 91 x 139 mm.
The saw is equipped with a Makita Efficut 260 mm blade. The unique Efficut blade design reduces friction, removes chips more efficiently, delivers a cleaner cut, and cuts faster.
The slide rails are positioned forward from the rear of the machine, allowing the saw to be placed closer to a wall and saving space on the jobsite. The saw table has integrated extensions that increase the table width by 20 cm when pulled out.
The machine can be beveled left or right to a quick setting of 45°, or up to 48° using a separate button. The bevel adjustment is conveniently operated from the front of the machine.
Highly efficient dust extraction from the rear of the machine and from the blade housing when connected to a vacuum. The Makita AWS system enables automatic remote starting of the vacuum via Bluetooth connection. The saw also has a separate switch for manually starting the vacuum.
The powerful work light illuminates the cutting area and accurately casts the blade shadow onto the workpiece for very easy and precise cutting.
Soft start adds to user comfort. The electric brake stops the blade quickly and safely. Electronic constant speed control maintains a steady speed even under load.
The saw is supplied as a bare tool, without battery or charger.
