Makita MR002GZ radio and Bluetooth speaker with USB charging, CXT/LXT/XGT/AC power, is a high-quality radio for the jobsite or leisure time with Bluetooth functionality. The MR002GZ is a radio equipped with Bluetooth functionality for the jobsite or leisure use. The 89 mm diameter speakers on the sides of the unit produce excellent stereo sound that is enough even for larger spaces. With wireless Bluetooth technology, you can connect your phone, for example, to the radio and play your favorite music. You can also charge your phone via the USB port at the same time. In addition, the unit has an AUX input for analog connection.
The unit operates on 12V CXT batteries, 18V LXT batteries, and 40V XGT batteries, or on AC power. Runtime is up to 27 hours when using an 18V LXT® 6.0Ah battery.
The radio has a digital AM/FM tuner with 10 preset stations, including 5 AM and 5 FM frequencies, as well as a backlit LCD display, control dial, and selection buttons. In addition, the unit includes a clock, two alarms with snooze function, and a sleep timer.
The radio is excellently protected all around with rubber bumpers and metal tubes on the front. In addition, the IP65 rating ensures that the unit can withstand use even in harsher weather conditions. A convenient carrying handle makes it easy to move the unit from place to place. The radio antenna is integrated into the carrying handle.
