Makita PV001GZ Polisher 40V XGT 180 mm body only is a professional cordless polisher.
A powerful cordless polisher with 180 mm Velcro attachment, ideal for polishing cars and boats, for example. The 40V XGT battery and brushless motor make polishing efficient and easy to use. Adjustable rotation speed via the trigger switch from 600–2200 min-1 or with a separate dial from 600–2200 min-1. Body-only version without battery or charger.
A powerful professional cordless polisher for applications such as polishing cars and boats. Accessories attach with an M14 thread. Comes standard with a 180 mm hook-and-loop backing pad with Velcro attachment. The long-lasting and energy-efficient brushless motor delivers power comparable to a corded model.
With variable speed control, the RPM is easy to adjust to suit the job, and constant electronics ensure the speed remains steady under load. Speed can be adjusted via the trigger switch in the range of 0–2200/min, and with the separate adjustment dial the speed can be set between 600–2200/min. The lock-on switch makes extended use easier. Makita XPT system protects the machine effectively against water and dust even in demanding conditions.
Runtime per charge with a 4.0Ah battery is 14–67 minutes depending on the selected speed (with a 3.5–4.0 kg load). The housing is fully protected so that, for example, when polishing a car, the tool itself will not leave marks on the paint surface. Restart protection helps prevent accidental starts.
A wide range of different accessories is available as optional extras.
