Makita PV300Z polisher/sander 18V is a lightweight cordless tool for versatile applications. A handy brushless machine for sanding and polishing. By changing the backing pad, you can use the tool for polishing surfaces or, for example, removing paint/rust. The pad can be changed easily without tools. Adjustable rotation speed. Bare tool version without battery or charger.

Polisher
The backing pad supplied as standard for polishing accessories has a diameter of 75 mm. It uses various 80 mm foam pads or a lambswool pad. The tool’s lower speed range of 0–2800 min?¹ is well suited for polishing.
Sander
The backing pad included with the tool for sanding accessories is suitable for 50 mm Roloc-mounted sanding accessories. The speed range intended for sanding, 0–9500 min?¹, is well suited for sanding small details.
The tool features a durable, efficient, and energy-saving brushless motor. Two speed options (0–2,800 min?¹ and 0–9,500 min?¹) and variable speed control from the trigger help match the power to the task. The trigger lock-on button allows the tool to be used without continuously pressing the switch, reducing strain on the hands. The anti-restart function protects the user from accidental start-ups. The Makita XPT system effectively protects the tool against water and dust even in demanding conditions.
Changing different backing pads or polishing sponges is quick and easy without tools. The side handle provides a firm grip for working.
