Makita UT001GZ01 40V XGT mixer, body only, is a powerful mixer for the XGT battery system. The brushless motor and 2-speed gearbox make the machine versatile for a wide range of mixing applications.

1st gear with a speed range of 0–500 rpm is well suited for mixing concrete, mortar, and other heavy materials. 2nd gear with a speed range of 0–920 rpm is suitable for mixing paint, self-leveling compounds, and similar materials.

Mixing paddles attach with an M14 thread (M14 female thread on the machine). It is also possible to attach a drill chuck in place of the mixing paddle.
The rubber-coated handles provide a firm and ergonomic grip. Rubber bumpers placed on the corners of the handles protect the floor when the device is laid down on its side.

Soft start reduces splashing at startup and makes the machine more comfortable to use. Variable speed control can be adjusted directly from the trigger switch. The switch can also be locked in the on position, allowing speed to be adjusted with a separate control dial. The control dial can also be used to limit the maximum speed.

Makita XPT system protects the device from dust and splashes. The trigger switch is protected by a separate rubber cover, preventing, for example, hardening mortar splashes from jamming the switch. The battery is protected from splashes by a separate enclosed cover. The cover fits 2.0Ah to 4.0Ah batteries. Body only version without batteries or charger.
