A backpack vacuum made for mobile work, with adjustable shoulder straps and a waist belt for lighter, more comfortable use. Features an efficient HEPA filter and a 2 L dust bag. The vacuum includes a remote start connection for power tools, 3 power settings, quiet operating noise, an LED light, and a control switch that lets you check the battery charge level. Bare tool version without battery or charger.

Developed for Makita's XGT® 40V Max battery system, the VC009GLZ01 backpack vacuum has a compact design and offers excellent ergonomics for jobsite use thanks to its sturdy harness and waist belt. Its extremely efficient brushless motor is completely maintenance-free and delivers suction performance comparable to similar corded machines. Three different power levels can be selected depending on the application. Runtime is 14–62 min with a 5 Ah XGT® battery, depending on the suction power used. Dust container capacity is 2 L, and a fleece dust bag is recommended to make emptying the container easier. The machine comes standard with an easy-to-clean HEPA class 13 filter.
The VC009GLZ01 is designed especially for connection to a power tool and comes with a narrower 28 mm diameter suction hose suitable for tool connection, along with two different adapters to connect between the tool and the vacuum. By connecting the vacuum to a power tool, you can achieve nearly dust-free operation. AWS (Auto-start Wireless System) allows the vacuum and tool to be connected via Bluetooth. This enables the vacuum to start automatically when the power tool is switched on. A Bluetooth chip is included in the package.
