Product description The blade diameter of conventional electrician’s screwdrivers is often too large to reach deep-set screws. However, the insulation must not be removed, as doing so would also compromise safety. In the Wiha slimTECHNOLOGY design developed specifically for electrical work, the protective insulation is integrated into the blade, enabling blades up to 33% slimmer. With slimBit bits, you can easily access deep-set screw and spring elements as well. The insulated slimBit bits are individually tested in accordance with the international IEC 60900 standard and allow safe working on live parts up to 1,000 V AC. Standards Tested in accordance with IEC 60900. Note 6 mm slimBit bits may only be used with speedE®, slimVario®, or TorqueVario®-S electric tools. VDE and GS tested Application Insulated tools are approved for use up to 1,000 volts.
