Hultafors fire steel FS

The fire starter is 100 mm long and 10 mm thick. It is both ergonomic and effective in any weather. The sparks it produces reach a temperature of around 3000°C. On wilderness knives (OK1 and OK4), the back of the blade has a roughened spine that can be struck with the fire starter to create sparks. The knife sheaths have a holder for the fire starter.

The shape of the fire starter and its flexible lanyard provide a secure grip.

The flexible lanyard also helps keep the fire starter more securely in its sheath.

Extremely long-lasting – thousands of uses.

You can use either end of the fire starter.
The handle is made of highly durable PP plastic and features a Santoprene coating for a secure grip. The 82 mm tang makes the knife extremely durable.

The fabric belt loop fits belts up to 80 mm wide and narrower, and it includes a pocket for the fire starter. The belt loop can also be removed, allowing the sheath to be attached to a button on workwear.

The spine is ground so it can be used with the fire starter for making fire, and the measurement scale engraved on the blade is optimized for outdoor use.
