Hultafors Outdoor Axe 14.8 in

Small axe for outdoor use; the forged head is sandblasted and protected with a clear lacquer. Also suitable for garden work. The curved handle is made of hickory. Includes a blade cover. 

The axe head is made from Swedish axe steel and is hand-forged using a traditional technique dating back to 1697. The head is forged with numerous blows, increasing the density of the steel and enhancing the durability of the axe. The head features a distinct hardened zone, from which the blade can be sharpened without reducing its strength. 

The handle is made of hickory and treated with linseed oil. A blade cover is included with the axe, and it is also available separately as an accessory.
