Product description: The DJR185 is a compact reciprocating saw in the Makita lineup, designed for lighter-duty applications. What makes this reciprocating saw special is its extremely small size, and it has been specifically designed for working in tight spaces while also allowing one-handed operation. The tool weighs only about 1.8 kg with the battery and is just 392 mm long. This machine can be used with both reciprocating saw blades and jigsaw blades.

The machine has two operating switches: a traditional trigger switch in the handle for two-handed use, and a full-hand press switch on the underside of the machine that enables effortless one-handed operation. The machine features variable speed control, a stroke rate of 0–3000, and a stroke length of 13 mm. It also includes an LED light that illuminates the work area. Key benefits:
