A professional-grade jigsaw with a top handle, three-stage orbital action, and quick blade change. The speed can be adjusted from the trigger between 0–3000 min⁻¹ depending on the material. Stroke length is 23 mm, and the cutting capacity is 135 mm in wood and 10 mm in steel. Bare tool version without battery or charger.
A powerful jigsaw that can deliver even more power than corded machines, thanks to the brushless motor. Adjustable speed via either the trigger or the adjustment dial ensures optimal cutting in a wide range of materials. Automatic load sensing increases the speed to maximum only when the tool is under load. Load sensing can also be turned off when cutting light materials such as wind barrier board, thin plywood, and hardboard.
The 23 mm stroke length combined with the powerful brushless motor ensures highly efficient cutting even in thick materials. The LED light effectively illuminates the cutting line, and the blade blows loose sawdust away from the line.
The orbital action pushes the blade forward as it moves upward. It has three settings and can also be switched off. The blade is attached simply by pushing it into place. Removal is easy as well—turn the lever and the spring pushes the blade out.
The ergonomically designed top handle provides a very secure grip for precise work, and the Makita XPT system effectively protects the tool against dust and water. For extended use, the trigger features a lock-on button.
The underside of the base plate is made of steel, and a plastic cover for the base plate is also included to protect delicate surfaces from scratches. Can also be connected to a vacuum cleaner with the dust extraction adapter supplied as standard.
