In construction and renovation work, it is often necessary to drill holes through walls, floors, and other structures precisely in the right spot. With the PK2 drill alignment tool, you can forget about difficult measurements and drilling test holes. The PK2 consists of the PKT2 transmitter and the PKR2 receiver.
The PK2 is used by attaching the transmitter, for example with adhesive putty, to the desired drilling point on the wall. The corresponding point is then located on the other side of the wall using the receiver. The receiver’s arrow indicator lights show which direction the device needs to be moved to find the correct alignment. The pitch of the audible signal rises as you get closer to the right spot, while the distance reading becomes more precise. Green indicator lights turn on when the correct spot has been found. The alignment works at distances of up to 150 cm.
In addition to drilling applications, the PK2 is suitable for many other tasks where a specific point needs to be located through a wall or other structure.
The PKT2 transmitter has an automatic metal detector that warns if there is metal beneath the device. Likewise, the AC voltage detector warns if there is an electric field nearby, caused for example by a concealed live AC wire near the drilling point.
The transmitter and receiver measure 172 x 75 x 28 mm and weigh 210 g and 230 g respectively (incl. batteries). The PK2 electrical product number (Snro) is 6709152.
